PayPerPost Review – For Advertisers and Bloggers
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. You can also subscribe to Time To Budget by Email. Thanks for visiting!
Though the recent segmentation has left me a little urked.  I do think that PayPerPost offers the best to advertisers and bloggers. Since the segmentation they have had a number of high paying offers. When I say high paying I mean high paying. They have had offers as high as $1000. Of course for someone to be able to take that opp you have to have a page rank of 8 or higher and an Alex score of 10,000. The $1000 opp is offered by PayPerPost and as of yet I have not seen any other offers from other advertisers. I am sure PayPerPost is hoping the high paying opps will catch on.
I have seen some decent opps from outside advertisers. Right now they have a couple of $75 opps for those that have a least a PR 6. I suppose I should be happy for those that are making the bigger bucks. I hope to be one of the high paid bloggers one of these days.
Advertisers only have to pay a 35% service fee. Companies like Review Me have a 100% markup which means they are taking half of your money for each post. Review Me has not accepted me as a blogger so I don’t really have any experience with them other than being rejected. Last I heard they won’t tell you how or why they accept blogs. I am sure it has a lot to do with PR, Alex Score and possibly your own domain name or blog host. If I was an advertiser I wouldn’t like have to pay a set price for PR. I would want to have the freedom to set me price and have bloggers come to me.
So advertisers, if you are looking into blog marketing I would suggest looking into PayPerPost before some of the other companies (Blogitive, Review Me, LoudLaunch). If you are a blogger and have had an active blog for at least 90 days you should submit your blog. There are still a decent amount of offers for the little guys and if we work at it long enough we will one day be able to take the high paying opps.
Blogging for the Future – My Blogging Goals
I discovered blogging about a year ago and at that time I was only interested in the possibility of making money. I discovered that not only could I generate an almost immediate income with blogging, I was also having fun. I soon found out that blogging provided an outlet and a voice for this much opinionated gal. I can basically say what I want and no one can really do anything about it. Of course all that I blog about is to benefit others as well as myself but I still love the freedom to do what I want.
I am not about shocking people, causing controversy or babbling about nothing. My goal is to find useful information and share it with others. It’s plain and simple. I figure that if I am struggling with certain things like “finances” than others must be too. I am not completely motivated by a “giving” spirit. I am trying to make money with this blog but without compromising good content.
A home school mom of 2 children and a toddler is limited in time so I am only able to blog weekly on each of my three blogs (the ones I care most about, I really have about 7). I decided it is better to have good content then large numbers of posts. I do realize that the more one blogs the better but I have decided not to concern myself too much with this.
I have seen many blogs that seem to only be concern about paid blogging opps. I actually have a few blogs that are purposed mainly for paid blogging. Usually the non-paid blog posts on my blogs as well as other blogs I have seen are just “filler” post and don’t really have much “meat”. My goal for my “good” blogs like Time To Budget, Horse Approved, SuperMom Life (and a few others I am working on) is to include more “meat” with some paid blogging opps. This is all part of my long term goal. I believe good content will payoff one of these days.
What are your long term blogging goals?
Review My Post – PayPerPost
PayPerPost now offers a thing called Review My Post as an affiliate option. As a blogger I can include my badge at the end of my post that offers reviewers and bloggers to get paid. It’s an interesting concept and I think it opens up new opportunities for making money.
Though I am a little upset about the segmentation I think the Review My Post gives us low or zero page rank bloggers an opportunity to still make money. I have only included one Review My Post badge to a post but that is only because I haven’t been taking very many opps.
I have not yet recieved any reviews for my posts but I would imagine that is because people don’t know what it’s all about. If you are interested in earning money for reviewing my post please be sure and click on the badge at the end of my post and follow the instructions. You will need to register a new user account. It’s easy to do and you can make money too.
To be honest I am still a little fuzzy on how it works but PPP claims it will increase your blog traffic. I would actually love it for someone to review my post so I can find out more about it. I suppose I could visit PPP blog or forum but that can sometimes become time consuming. So if you happen to review my post please leave a comment and tell me how it went.
I am still not really clear if I am able to review other PPP blogger posts so I will have to look into that and post about it.

Things are Looking Up
My husband recently changed jobs. Well actually one of the jobs he had before is now his full time job. We aren’t exactly making much more than before but now he doesn’t have to work like a dog. The changes are exciting but a little scary at the same time.
Some of our financial stress has been relieved so now I don’t feel as pressured to be a paid blogging machine. My daily paid blogging work was taking it’s tole on the family. I was spending far to much time online. So I have cut my work hours which are maily spent updating my blogs. I will still take paid blogging offers but not nearly as much as I did before. I have decided to have more of a long term goal with my blogging ventures. I want to continue to provide good content for each of my blogs.
My Horse Approved blog is doing really well and I am excited about it. I have been contacted by different people interested in being apart of the site. I also have at least two other blogs I am working developing. Since my time is limited things are taking a little longer than I had hoped. I will say that I am sure all the blogs I plan to have will be completed and active within this year.
