Blogging Goals – My New Work Schedule

Well, Monday was the first day I tried out my new work schedule. I was supposed only work 3 hours today but I think I ended working more like 5. I need to be sure I record my start and end time so that I know how much I am working. I want to try and keep to my 20 hours a week. It might be hard to try and stick to this shedule right now because I am in planning stage of my new blog. I have a hard time putting things down when  I am in the planning stage.

I came up with a daily work schedule sheet that will hopefully help me stay focussed to tasks. I have a problem of moving from one thing to another when I don’t have a plan.

The form includes Thursday and Friday I just wasn’t able to fit the whole form in the picture (print screen). If you are wondering why I am paying myself $60 an hour you need to read the previous post.

I was reading an interesting post today on DoshDosh about blogging mistakes and one suggestion was to create a daily and weekly blogging schedule so I guess I am on the right track.

Now that’s smart. I had gotten as far as committing to two posts and five comments a day but I hadn’t given myself a schedule to accomplish so I just finished my first draft of a daily schedule thanks to you. I appreciate it.

Thanks Martin! I am glad I could help. I have heard that the most effective people are the ones that are organized. So I am trying to learn to be organized :)

Thanks for some great posts that I will be taking to heart. I’ve just recently starting a blog & I’m learning so much! I especially appreciate that you’ve given some very specific examples that I can modify to my needs & schedule. I’m definately including your blog on my RSS Feeds!
