Kontera now on Time To Budget – ContentLinks now available to low traffic sites

In case you haven’t noticed I now have ContentLinks (Kontera) on this blog. Normally a site would need to have high traffic to have Kontera’s ContentLinks.  Fortunately I was over at John Chow dot com and he announced that there is now a partnership between Kontera and himself. Now if you enter “John Chow Kontera partnership” in the comments field you will be allowed to have Kontera on your site even if you don’t meet their normal requirements.

I am in the testing phase now to see if it will work out with this site. I am not really happy about the links appearing in every part of my blog like the header and sidebar. I am looking into making the links appear in the blog post only.

So how do I make money with Kontera’s ContentLinks?

The ContentLink™ ads displayed on content pages are cost-per-click (CPC) ads. This means that advertisers pay only when users click on their ad. You will receive a portion of the amount paid for clicks on ContentLink™ ads on your website. We´ll send you a check in US dollars for your account balance within 30 days after the end of each calendar month that ContentLink™ ads are running on your site.

I thought if you do Paid Blogging, you can’t have any Inline Ads or so like ADBRITE as many advertisers don’t take lightly of that??

Yes azrin, I think this is true but I haven’t taken an offer in a while so I don’t think it matters. At least as far a PayPerPost goes you have to have the paid posting up for at least 30 days. After that I am assuming they can’t really say anything unless I take another offer. I don’t know what they other paid posting companies have to say about Kontera but I know John Chow does a whole lot of ReviewMe offers and he has Kontera. It’s possible he disables it for those posts though, I am not sure.
Like I said though, I am in the testing phase right now. Not sure if I am going to keep it.

Good morning Mona. I’m headed over to John’s blog now to sign up. How has Kontera been going for you these first few weeks?

    Hi Martin,
Well like with most pay per click type of income traffic really makes a difference. I haven’t made that much with it so far but as my blog increases traffic it should get better. I hope ;)
