Very Busy Time Of Year

This time of year always seems to be a very busy time for me. I am not sure why but I always seem to have some kind of project just about to launch every spring. Right now the ProBlogHer.COM project is taking up a lot of my time. The problem with becoming busy is that my finances are often neglected.

I am trying really hard to find balance. Some days I feel as though I have a good handle on things and other days I feel very overwhelmed and disorganized. Today, I got a lot of things done around the house and working online but my budget and bills didn’t get much attention.

My hope for these new project like ProBlogHer.COM is that the income generated will relieve e some of our financial pressures. I am really excited about the fact that ProBlogHer.COM is already generating a buzz even though it’s still in pre-launch.

We will see if my online money making venture will pay off this year. So far my income has continued to increase every month. Like I said in a post I wrote earlier this year, I think this year for income earning.

Getting Ready To Coordinate An Financial Peace University Class

We are about 6 weeks away from the start of our church’s first official FPU class. We did have one about a year and a half ago but it was for the leaders and they didn’t request to be in the class but were asked to be in the class. I don’t think some of the class members were in the right mindset to be in the class so there wasn’t very much change. In fact it was even more difficult for my husband and I to remain excited because we were seeing much excitement coming from the class.

This time around I know people will be signing up out of a desire to change how they handle their money. So I am very excited about this next class. I am disappointed that I won’t be able to announce that my husband and I are debt free. My hope and pray is that this time around we can make a significant dent in our debt.

ProBlogHer.COM is in Pre-Launch!!

The reason I a have been so busy lately and haven’t had much time to write is because I have been working on my latest website. ProBlogHer.COM is a website geared toward women bloggers who are interested in taking the necessary steps toward professional blogging. I am really excited about this project and expect it to be very successful. At this point I can’t tell you much more so you will have to visit the site and subscribe the email updates. I will offering articles about this site and information about when the site will officially launch. This project has been in the making for about 6 months so I have put a lot of thought into it. Watch, Listen and Learn From Dave Ramsey - Video Broadcasting of The Dave Ramsey Show - Fox Business Network

I was recently told that Dave Ramsey has a radio show on Fox Business Network. I was excited to hear about Dave’s television show but also a little disappointed that I couldn’t watch it. We haven’t had cable television for over 5 years now so I am pretty clueless when it comes to what’s on television. The great thing about the Internet of late is that many network stations will offer free episodes through their website. I decided to check the Fox Business Network website and low and behold, Dave Ramsey episodes are free for viewing.

The Dave Ramsey television show started October of last year but the oldest episode on the Fox website is January 24th. They don’t seem to be offering every episode either but at least those of us that may not be able to see Dave on television can watch him online.

I am really excited about having the opportunity to not only listen to Dave’s radio show online but also watch his new television broadcast.
